Nationwide voter turnout was recorded at 60.69%, a significant figure reflecting considerable public engagement. This was confirmed by Md. Ruhul Amin Mollick, Director (Public Relations) & Information Officer, Election Commission, to us. Notably, postal ballots saw a massive 80.11% participation rate, while the overall valid vote rate stood at 70.25%.

According to our compilation of field-level result sheets from thousands of polling stations, in 94 constituencies where at least 40,000 votes have been cast, the BNP and its allies are ahead in 62 seats. Jamaat and its allies are leading in 29, while independents are ahead in three constituencies. Ganosanhati Andolan Chief Jonayed Saki secured a landslide victory in Brahmanbaria-6, leaving his Jamaat-e-Islami opponent, Md. Mohsin, trailing by a massive margin. The BNP backed candidate polled 95,342 votes, while the Jamaat candidate managed only 39,967. Saki wins by a dominant 55,375-vote lead. The constituency recorded a 52.58% voter turnout, with 149,603 votes cast out of 289,674, reported Prothom Alo. We could not independently verify this result.
