BNP candidate Md Manjurul Islam wins Dinajpur-1 (Rangpur Division) with 118,751 votes. His closest rival Jamaat candidate Md Motiur Rahman received 78,558 votes with candidates from four other parties contesting in this constituency. While Islami Andolon Bangladesh and Zaker Party bagged a little more than 3,000 votes, collectively, the JaPa candidate secured 942 votes and GOP candidate received 187 votes.
