Barguna's two constituencies saw victories of two parties by narrow margins. In Barguna-1, Islami Andolon Bangladesh candidate Md Oli Ullah win with 140,291 votes with BNP candidate Md. Nazrul Islam Molla trailing behind with 136,145 votes. This constituency saw a 55.2% voter turnout. In Barguna-2, BNP candidate Md Nurul Islam wins with 90,643 votes closely followed by Jamaat candidate Dr. Sultan Ahmed with 85,247 votes. This constituency saw 58.4% voter turnout.

In the Moulvibazar-2 constituency, BNP candidate Md Shaukatul Islam wins by a narrow margin with 25,488 votes. His closest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Sayed Ali, received 17,863 votes. This constituency saw a 19.6% voter turnout.
